What Is P21 Peptide?
P21, also written P021 or Peptide 021, is a small synthetic peptide compound developed from ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF), a naturally occurring protein that supports the development and maintenance of the nervous system. Researchers designed P21 to capture the activity of one short region of CNTF in a molecule that is far smaller and more stable than the full protein.
